Our aim is only to use responsibly-sourced timber supplies, so that all of the timber-derived products we all use every day shall have as little impact on our environment as possible. UWP have invested greatly in waste management that we now burn 80% of our wood waste, converting our prime waste (MDF dust) into heat and power that is related back into the factory complex. UWP have ensured through independent surveys and inspection through certification compliance with all relevant factory/wood working legislation relating to health & safety.
